This wedding was so fun. It was just a bunch of awesome fun people. The groom is a police officer and so were many of the guests and wedding party so the cop jokes never stopped. I love the bride because she is so fun and beautiful and really knows how to let her hair down and have a good time.
We had very little time between the ceremony and reception to get some pictures of them together and I am thrilled with what we got in that short time.
It is such a privilege to shoot weddings. To be invited into people's personal day with their closest family and friends. It's an honor to feel the joy of their day and the love of their network of people. It's just a little reminder of how wonderful life is and how important relationships are.

Been busy on the picture front so I thought I had better go through and start updating the blog. Blogging just takes a lot of time, and especially long when you have a fussy newborn.
But it's probably nothing compared to what this friend of mine is going through with twins!

My Muse

I think my little girl is gorgeous, as all mom's do, and she is by far my favorite thing to photograph. Luckily, there is another little girl on the way so we can have a change up of faces :)

Bright New Year

Here is wishing you a happy bright new year! I think it's going to be great. I mean with faces and smiles and laughter like this... how can you deny it.
