Cohen

I did this a little while ago of one of dearest friends' little boys. I was playing around with it testing some new effects so I thought I'd re share it. Most of you have seen this photo before, but here it is again, new and maybe improved?

Creative Playpen

This is more pictures from our road trip. Jake had a good idea for a playpen of sorts, which worked pretty well for awhile! Finger paints were one of the many projects I had for Piper to keep her entertained through our many hours in the car and sitting hanging out at the camp sites and hotels. Our kids are born travelers. Or should we say forced travelers? They did so good though and this is proof.

What The Eyes Can't See

I was attempting to get the sunset because it was stunning so I pulled over off the side of the road and about got GOT by this bee that was right in front of me in this flower. So I stumbled into the sunflower by accident. Anyway the point of this lame story is how rad this prime lens is. That same sunset is behind the flower... never would've guessed it. Thank you 1.8. I took these two pictures without moving my feet.

Ivory Keys

This piano is very significant to me and my family. It's my grandma's piano. She has had it forever and played us songs, and taught us songs, and now let our children play on it. It's just so her house. So as you can imagine I love this little mosaic.

Since I Haven't "Bragged" I Mean Blogged In A While

I entered some pictures in the fair with my father in law (after some prodding) and what do you know? I won something!

To Cut Or Not To Cut?

Been trying to decide whether to keep her little short hair cut or not, and after much speculation I think I am going to be paying my resident hair cutter a visit tomorrow. Good decision?

Who Would Have Guessed

It's funny, I bought this long board in college and now my little girl is playing with it admiring the butterflies on the bottom.

Can't Leave Well Enough Alone

So I had to mess around with these some more. The more you know, the more you realize you don't know. This is applicable with all knowledge or information that we run across. So as it is with the art of pictures and post production, eh? I should just quit until I have fully mastered everything so I don't have to continuously redoing things! We are our own worst critics. Luckily for my friend here... More pictures for her.

Annual Carroll Road Trip

Here is the start to the pictures of our road trip. We stayed in Lake Tahoe the first night, then went to Yosemite National Forest, Sequoia National Forest, Las Vegas and came home. The first picture is of the massive trees in Sequoia, as is the last. The second one is me at Lake Tahoe. I just thought it was funny. At first I didn't mean to catch myself in the picture and then when I saw my shadow I saw an opportunity. Lake Tahoe was amazing. I loved it, it was so beautiful. It is a destination for sure. There will more pictures to follow so stay tuned. If you are lucky I might even post one of my "photogenic" husband! You know I love you too much to do that to you honey... By the way anyone and everyone I would love some feedback!

Back To The Real World

Back from our road trip adventure to the National Parks of California. Pictures soon :) Since I couldn't wait to get home and bury my head in my kids, due to a lack of time spent with them (sarcastic face) thought I'd look back at some of the recent ones I have taken and not had time to do anything with. By the looks of the two of them you'd never know how aggressive she can be with him..

Savy

I did some more work on these ones I took quite awhile ago. They were pretty strait out of camera, so I thought I'd give them a little boost. Anything taken with this little Savy is extraordinary.

Knockout

This is my best gal's little gal. She is a knockout. I took this one awhile ago at one of our live saving play dates, but wanted to try something new on it. She is absolutely the most precious girl ever. Just like her mom. Her and Beckett will live happily ever after.

Bubbles And Balloons

More of my nephews. I mostly like this pictures because of the bubbles. I wanted it to be a little dreamy due to the bubbles and balloon.. Something seems off, but I think overall a good capture. Bubbles and balloons, staples to our children's lives.

Parker

I don't really know what to write about pictures. Um.. these are some pictures I took. I also edited them.
Ok I'll elaborate. I took these for fun of my friend's little guy. One day this boy will hopefully be walking to school with Beckett. It's across the street from my house. That is the beauty of where I live: there are barns falling over in my neighbors' yards. Luckily that barn belongs to my new friend so I can use her for her barn. (She better know I am kidding. I do love her.)
